Red Cliff COVID-19 Testing Results and Update

Dear community members,

On Saturday August 22, 2020 the Red Cliff Community Health Center, in conjunction with the Wisconsin National Guard, conducted a COVID-19 testing event.  The event yielded 159 individuals tested from around the region.  There was one positive test (not in Red Cliff’s jurisdiction) and one test that could not be processed.

Currently Red Cliff has:

Total cases:  4
Recovered:  3
Death:  1
Currently monitoring:  0

The Red Cliff Community Health Center wants everyone to know that people should follow simple steps to avoid getting sick, including:

• Frequent and thorough handwashing with soap and water
• Cover coughs and sneezes
• Avoid touching your face
• Stay home when sick
• Practice social distancing
• Avoid large public gatherings and crowds
• Wear a facemask in public areas
