May 20, 2021—The Red Cliff Tribal Council has amended the mandatory face coverings ordinance and has approved outdoor events to take place. For those who are fully vaccinated, masks are no longer required within reservation boundaries. Tribal-sponsored events may continue and will require an approved safety plan in place.

According to the updated ordinance, masks must still be worn by those who are not yet fully vaccinated. Masks are still required at the Red Cliff Community Health Center.

Community members receiving in-person services can expect Tribal employees to still wear a mask while working with clients.

Updates and news regarding specific Tribal events – including Red Cliff’s Annual Pow Wow and Cultural Days – will be released as they become available.

Anyone interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccine should contact the Red Cliff Community Health Center at 715-779-3707.

Red Cliff’s Mandatory Face Coverings Ordinance was originally passed by the Red Cliff Tribal Council on July 31, 2020. The ordinance has been in effect since August 3, 2020.
