Red Cliff Submits Brief to Bayfield County Regarding Proposed Water Bottling Project

The Red Cliff Band has submitted a brief to the Bayfield County Board of Adjustment with comments regarding Kristle KLR's appeal of the denied conditional use permit.

 

The Bayfield County Board of Adjustment will host a public hearing and meeting on Thursday August 26, 2021 at 9:00 AM in the County Board Room of the Bayfield County Courthouse in Washburn. The public is invited to attend the hearing to provide comments. Written comments will also be accepted and should be sent by August 25 via email to zoning@bayfieldcounty.wi.gov.

 

On April 15, 2021 the Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee denied Kristle KLR's application for a conditional use permit. Kristle KLR appealed the decision, leading to the upcoming August 26 public hearing and meeting where the Board of Adjustment will address the appeal.

 

The Red Cliff Band urges the Bayfield County Board of Adjustment to uphold the Zoning Committee's decision to deny this incomplete application due to a lack of information within the application and a lack of environmental impact analysis.
