Red Cliff contracts with consultant to assess and improve program practices

The Red Cliff Tribal Council has contracted with business consulting firm WIPFLI, a Minneapolis-based company that specializes in assessing organizations’ processes and policies.

WIPFLI will work with Tribal Administration and the Indian Child Welfare Department to help identify areas in which the ICW program can restructure and improve its practices, with the goal of best-serving the Red Cliff community and families. This assessment process will eventually take place across all Tribal departments and programs to increase efficiency within Tribal operations.

“Our Administration is looking forward to working with WIPFLI as we continue to listen and address the needs of our community,” said Chairman Christopher Boyd. “This work will ultimately help us become more effective and helpful for our families across all of our programs.”

After working with Red Cliff leadership, WIPFLI will conduct several workshops with ICW program personnel. The workshops will help WIPFLI identify specific improvement strategies as part of an Improvement Roadmap. WIPFLI will also conduct reviews of policy manuals to ensure all program procedures conform with best practices and federal grant regulations.

Tribal Administration would like to thank community members for continuing to provide feedback on issues that affect Miskwaabikaang. The Tribal Council strives to continually improve all programs, resources, and services offered to Red Cliff Tribal Members and community.
