Red Cliff Receives First Nations Development Institute Grant

Funds will benefit Boys & Girls Club, Elderly Programs, and Kids Christmas Event

Gaa-Miskwaabikaang has received a $15K grant from the First Nations Development Institute (FNDI). The Red Cliff Tribal Council will distribute $5K to the Red Cliff Boys & Girls Club of Gitchi Gami for future programming. Another $5K will go to Red Cliff's Elderly Program, and the final $5K will go to the Red Cliff Kids Christmas Event that provides gifts to area youth every year.

"Chi-Miigwech to the First Nations Development Institute for supporting Gaa-Miskwaabikaang and miigwech to the Tribal Council for ensuring these funds go towards our community programs," said Red Cliff Chairman Christopher Boyd. "The Tribe offers many great programs and resources to the community, and we're very appreciative of grants like these that help sustain our programs serving Gaa-Miskwaabikaang."
