Nutrition Education

The Red Cliff Food Distribution Program offers free nutrition education for the Gaa-Miskwaabikaang community. We strive to educate and empower community members to live healthy lifestyles while incorporating traditional foods and values. Find resources, cooking events, recipes, and more as you scroll down. Key Food Choices
Whenever possible, make half your plate fruits and vegetables, at least half your grains whole grains, and switch to fat-free or low-fat milk and milk products. Increase physical activity and reduce time spent in sedentary behaviors. These small steps will have a big impact on your health!

Monthly Cooking Class
Join us at the Elderly Feeding Center once a month as we use ingredients from our Tribal Elder Food Box program! Our next date is set for July 29, 2024.
