Transfer Station & Recycling Center

This department is tasked with disposal of solid waste and recyclable materials in the Red Cliff community. Recycling is free of charge and there are fees for disposing of non-recyclables.

The services provided by the Red Cliff Transfer Station are an important component to the health and well-being of the Red Cliff community and natural resources. The Red Cliff Transfer Station aims to reduce waste production in the community and increase the rate of recycling. Services offered:

• Recycle glass, bi-metals, plastic #1 & #2, paper, cardboard and aluminum as needed
• Accept appliances, electronics, fluorescent lighting and tires for a fee
• Accept items in the open top dumpster for a fee
• Accept household and office solid waste in clear or green bags for a fee

*Will not take anything in black bags *

Criteria:

• Open to the public, anyone can bring materials for a fee
• Possess green/clear bags for disposal
