Community Incident Report: Fatal Vehicle Accident
The Red Cliff Tribal Council is greatly saddened to share that Gaa-Miskwaabikaang lost a community member Wednesday night. The Tribal Council and Red Cliff Police Department send its sincerest condolences to all impacted by this incident. At this time, names are not being released out of respect for the family.
On Wednesday August 2nd around 10:00 PM, a fatal vehicle accident involving a City of Bayfield Police Department patrol vehicle and a pedestrian occurred on Highway 13 near W. Bresette Hill Road in Gaa-Miskwaabikaang. Wisconsin State Patrol and Ashland County Sheriff's Office are conducting the investigation.
